Focused trauma work, held within a clear structure
Two distinct pathways: concentrated work with one recurring trauma pattern, or with the survival responses that keep a relationship cycle active.
01 · Individual Trauma Intensive
One recurring pattern. A focused pathway towards greater choice.
For adults whose trauma responses continue to take over in familiar situations, even when they understand why.
Rather than working through an entire trauma history, we focus on one agreed pattern: what triggers it, how the body and protective responses take over, and where the ability to choose becomes limited.
The work moves beyond understanding into direct experiential intervention. Techniques and pacing are shaped by the individual's trauma pattern, current capacity and responses during the work.
Intensity does not mean rushing.
Four flexible elements guide the work:
- 01 · Map
- Identify the recurring pattern, its triggers, response sequence and maintaining mechanisms.
- 02 · Stabilise
- Establish enough present-moment capacity and support for the work, returning here whenever needed.
- 03 · Process
- Work experientially with the bodily, emotional and protective responses involved.
- 04 · Integrate
- Strengthen choice, boundaries and the ability to respond differently in everyday life.
Readiness and suitability for concentrated trauma work are assessed before starting.
02 · Relationship Trauma Intensive
Work with the trauma cycle before asking the relationship to change.
For couples in fundamentally safe relationships whose protective responses repeatedly activate each other.
One partner's survival response can become the other's signal of danger. Two protective systems may become locked in a recurring cycle, even when both partners want things to change.
This pathway goes beyond communication techniques. It begins with each partner's own trauma responses before addressing how the two patterns interact.
